Tragedy
September eleventh
in Two thousand and one, our whole country went through a devastating disaster that
we never thought would happen to our country.
At the time I was only about 5 or 6 year olds. I was too young to know what was really going
on, but my parents were in shock. At this
time that it was happening my mom was in to from room just doing her morning exercise
when my dad came running into the room with a raised voice saying “Janelle,
turn on the news, turn on the news.” In a
frantic state they both turned on the TV and switched it to the News and what
they was frightening to see. Seeing all
those people stuck on the building and on the ground not really knowing what
was happening. It was a scary feeling to
know what was happening at that very moment to the country. Let’s just
say me personally am so relieved for the president we had at the time and I’m
glad that, that point of time is all over and that we are finally getting back
on our feet as a country.
